Donkey & Mule Artwork

Cary Constantine has begun to create miniature donkey artwork such as this large oil painting entitled
"A Mother's Love" (pictured left).
The painting was done in preparation for his first public art show and was a gift to
Max and Dee Keithley from Braying Hills Miniature Donkeys.
The oil painting was created from a simple photo of the Keithley's jennet and new foal.
The painting was also displayed on the back cover of the National Miniature Donkey Association calendar for 2008.

He has also done oil paintings in a number of themes, such as "Picollo's Playtime". This particular oil painting was auctioned as a fundraiser item at the Ozarks Classic Breeders Sale in 2008. The proceeds are being used to establish a gelding incentive program for the Missouri Miniature Donkey Breeder's Association.

Constantine's oil painting entitled "Mickey and the Lion" is an exceptional 18" X 24" oil on canvas. This original artwork was auctioned as a fundraiser item at the Colorado Rocky Mountain Select Miniature Donkey Sale in 2008 with proceeds benefiting Turning Pointe Donkey Rescue.

Water Colors are also a popular medium in today's art world. The following series of 6 watercolor paintings are just a beginning of some of Constantine's work in this medium. They are titled "Bella Teodora", "Comanche", "Brando", "Grigio", "Petunia", and "Tia Running". The models of these paintings are from new foals born at Rancho Galleano. Future foals should continue to provide new models to expand this collection.

Greeting Cards are also available for these outstanding pieces of artwork. The cards and matching envelopes are made of high quality linen parchment in a buff color. The cards are blank inside and measure approximately 4" X 5 ½" and are wrapped individually.   Price: $2.00/each
